Crossroads Westside Apartments

Gage was phenomenal. He was engaging and personable, he made this tour so fun. I could tell he truly cared about me as a person and not just a potential sell. I unfortunately had to pass because even at their lowest, there wasn't an option that fit my needs as well as my budget. Aside from that, I cant thank Gage enough for the experienced he provided. The space/amenities at Crossroads Westside are truly stunning.

From the application process right up to my move in, the leasing team(Gage) was so great in helping me get approved within 3 days and moving in 3 days after that. The location and view is awesome. Moving from downtown Chicago to downtown Columbus, I wanted something in the downtown kc neighborhood and Crossroads west Apartments was just the perfect place and very affordable. I will recommend this place to anyone.

We toured multiple properties in the Kansas City area. We saw quite a range of different places and what they had to offer; good and bad. The reason we ended up going with Crossroads was the service Gage provided. Not being from the local area we had many questions. Gage was honest and upfront about Crossroads as well as other places in the area. He is very knowledgeable of the market and this was comforting for us not being locals. He really listened to our needs and was able to provide an apartment in the complex that fit our criteria. Now that we are tenants he continues to be a sound resource for any of our non local needs. This speaks to Gage's character and how he truly cares for the people he is serving, even after his "job" has been done.

Pros: - Friendly staff - nice units & amenities Cons: - Other residents are not courteous and leave their messes in the common areas for someone else to clean up - Pet waste covers the green spaces, which are limited - Not a great location for an apartment building as you are surrounded by train tracks and the interstate. It’s very loud so make sure you are aware before signing - You will pay $50 to park under a bridge and have your car pooped on by birds - the pool is unusable during weekends as other residents let their friends in. There are pool passes but no one enforces them - Lack of security presence. There was allegedly on-site security but never saw them once and lived here over a year. My catalytic converter was stolen, partners car window busted out, and license tabs stolen. - Utility billing is extremely confusing here. Upon moving out we were sent a $500+ bill that consisted of utilities that we were being undercharged for. No explanation was sent until I inquired.
